I was stoked to be asked to be a Guest Designer at Stick it Down this month. Something else to tick off the bucket list! Inspired by this sketch, this is what I came up with.
My son grew his hair for 3 years before chopping it all off and donating it to Variety Australia to be made into wigs for kids with cancer. I’ve flipped the sketch ’cause it suited my photos better and replaced one of the photos with an envelope to hold a braid of hair. I’ve used Radiant Gel in Key Lime & Luv-U-Pink and Colour Blast paste in Stormy Weather through a few stencil for my background (which I then mostly covered up with my photos!) I’ve used some washi tape and a scissors brad which I don’t remember where it came from but how very appropriate! The alpha’s are from Amy Tangerine and Tim Holtz Idea-ology. The wood veneer embellies I’ve painted with my Posca pens. tfl.
